Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting students ages 5-22 for at least 15 weeks, with the potential to extend throughout the academic year. This position offers a structured weekday schedule, Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. You’ll play a pivotal role in helping young learners achieve their potential through individualized and group therapy in a dynamic, collaborative school environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure and certification as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience working in school-based settings, with knowledge of IEP development and implementation
• Strong organizational skills to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently
• Experience or comfort working with students who have severe behavioral challenges, employing evidence-based strategies
• Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse sensory, motor, and regulatory needs across a wide age range (5-22)
• Excellent communication skills for working closely with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' therapeutic needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver direct OT services and consultative support in both individual and group settings
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate therapeutic goals within educational objectives
• Provide guidance, resources, and support for students exhibiting severe behaviors
• Maintain comprehensive documentation in accordance with school protocols and regulatory requirements
• Engage in progress monitoring and communicate outcomes effectively to families and educational partners
