Department: Student Health Service Job Summary: Assess and identify patients' needs; implement and monitor thepatient's medical plan and treatment. Ensure that patient care isconducted according to the policies and standards of theUniversity. Job Description: Provides care supportive to and restorative of health andwell-being. Coordinates nursing care activities with other healthdisciplines involved in the treatment effort. Develops a written individualized care plan which includesteaching needs. Administers medications. Job Responsibilities: Requirement: Candidates must be licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing asa registered nurse. Preferred Qualification: TB certification is highly preferred.
