Commercial Construction Superintendent

We are seeking a  Licensed Construction Superintendent to join our growing team. At BSI, you aren't just a number; you are a vital leader on-site, ensuring our legacy of excellence continues with every square foot we build.

The Role

As a Superintendent, you will be the primary lead on-site, responsible for the seamless execution of construction activities. You will bridge the gap between project vision and physical reality, coordinating subcontractors, overseeing safety, and maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Leadership: Supervise all on-site subcontractors and foremen to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Project Coordination: Partner with Project Managers to review plans, manage schedules, and coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment.
• Quality Control: Inspect work in progress and verify that all materials meet architectural specifications.
• Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for Architects, Owners, and Engineers, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Compliance & Safety: Maintain daily logs, hold weekly "Toolbox Talks," and ensure a safe, OSHA-compliant jobsite at all times.

Candidate Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated professional who balances technical "frame-to-finish" expertise with a polished, client-facing demeanor.

Professional Qualifications:

• Licensure: Valid Massachusetts Construction Supervisor License (CSL) is  required .
• Safety: OSHA 10 Certification.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in carpentry or commercial construction management preferred.
• Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of frame-to-finish carpentry and the ability to interpret complex blueprints.

Physical & General Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 80 lbs.
• Ownership of basic tools, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a high-functioning team.

Compensation & Benefits

BSI offers a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' long-term well-being.

• Pay Range: $25.00 – $45.00 per hour (commensurate with experience).
• Type: Full-time, Non-Exempt.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Overtime as required).
