This support role is essential to promoting student well‑being and contributing to the smooth operation of daily food service programs. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety and student service. Key Responsibilities The Substitute Food Service Worker will: Ensure meals are prepared and delivered to students and staff in a clean, safe, and healthy environment Performs all duties as assigned by the head cook Store, utilize, and dispose of food and supplies in accordance with federal, state, local, and district regulations Maintain a safe and clean environment and perform any sanitation duties to properly clean all equipment Education Requirements Minimum: High school diploma or GED Preferred: Experience Requirements Minimum: None Preferred: Previous experience in a cafeteria role Certifications & Licenses Required: None Preferred: None Application Requirements External Applicants Current employment clearances (dated within the past 5 years): Copies of degree certificates and transcripts Act 168 paperwork, Physical exam results, TB test results (required upon hire) Use your district login to create an internal account.
