Business Banking Relationship Manager

Role responsibilities include:
- Allocate 65–70% of time to active prospecting, self-sourcing business, building a book from the ground up, and driving new client acquisition.
- Build, develop, enrich and manage new and existing relationships with business clients.
- Deliver financial expertise and client-centric solutions that build strong, long-term relationships.
- Assess and attend to clients' banking needs.
- Educate clients on available deposit and loan products and services.
- Recommend financial solutions based on each client's unique goals and needs.
- Partner effectively with Treasury Management, Merchant Services and Business Banking Credit Card teams.
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience- Seven or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Knowledge of local market- Strong business to business sales skills and business development abilities- Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills- Knowledge of cash flow management and business credit underwriting with commercial credit training preferred- Demonstrated understanding of basic financial accounting and analysis- Broad knowledge of bank products and services that results in successfully identifying appropriate opportunities to sell the bank's products- Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to manage customer relationships- Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills- Demonstrated business acumen with knowledge of diverse types of businesses, industries, markets, financial and economic concepts
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule. If not prospecting and meeting with clients, there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week with the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $132,260.00 - $155,600.00
