Sr. Account Executive Commercial Print at Canon U.S.A., Inc. Walnut Creek, CA

About the Role Responsible for selling Canon's hardware and software technology-based solutions to printers, graphic houses, and fulfillment companies within an assigned account list. This role requires you to live within a reasonable commuting distance to the Bay Area (San Francisco, San Jose or Walnut Creek), CA so that you can adequately execute your job responsibilities. Responsibilities Develop strategies to penetrate accounts with key decision makers within the assigned account list, focusing on placing Canon equipment and solutions in new accounts. Report customer activity to management, identifying customer requirements, competitive trends, and changing environments. Develop strategic plans to address customer.’s requirements on a local basis, including short‑term and long‑term goals. Provide marketing, technical, and administrative support to named accounts’ internal departments to ensure outstanding relations and excellent customer support. Develop plans to introduce/place Canon technology, service, software, and third‑party solutions to address customer requirements. Establish high‑level relationships with the customer base to enhance long‑term working partnerships. Generate new market share through strategic prospecting and the ability to meet customer requirements by utilizing all available resources efficiently. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 5 years of related experience. Experience in office technology, business‑to‑business, and outside sales. Strong communication skills including the desire to build solid working relationships. Interest in learning new technology in an evolving industry. Ability to work autonomously and excellent time‑management skills. Some travel within the local market may be required, including occasional overnight stays; a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record are necessary. Compensation & Benefits Anticipated base salary range: $60,000 – $81,550 annually. Eligible for incentive compensation under the applicable plan; at 100% of the plan, the anticipated incentive compensation is $76,582 annually. Also eligible for a transportation allowance.
