Screening Sales Representative, Owensboro, KY

Abbott seeks a Screening Sales Representative in Owensboro, Kentucky to drive adoption of colorectal cancer screening diagnostics within a healthcare territory. The role involves building customer relationships, executing account strategies, and collaborating across functions to expand diagnostic solution utilization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute territory and account plans to increase awareness and adoption of Cologuard and related diagnostics
- Build relationships with physicians, healthcare administrators, and stakeholders to identify needs and deliver solutions
- Analyze healthcare markets and customer data to identify opportunities improving patient outcomes
- Collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Sales Operations on customer-specific strategies
- Document customer interactions and sales activities in CRM while maintaining ethical and compliance standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Life Sciences, or related field, or 4 years relevant professional experience
- 2 years sales/account management experience, or 1 year sales plus 1 year healthcare experience, or military service as Junior Officer or above
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record meeting company standards
- Ability to travel daily throughout territory with occasional overnight trips
- Legal authorization to work in United States without sponsorship
- Healthcare facility credentialing compliance capability
Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
