Desert Services, LLC provides construction site services to the Arizona construction industry, supporting projects with essential field operations and compliance solutions. The company's offerings include SWPPP services, portable sanitation, street sweeping, roll-off dumpsters, water trucks for dust control, temporary fencing, and site cleaning. Desert Services focuses on dependable service delivery, safety, and regulatory adherence to help construction partners maintain efficient, compliant job sites. Team members collaborate closely with contractors and builders across the region and contribute directly to successful project outcomes.

As we continue to grow, we're looking to add a Director of Water Truck services to our leadership team. This is a key role responsible for overseeing and directing all water truck operations across our projects, ensuring our teams operate safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands water truck operations, construction site demands, and the importance of strong field supervision.

What this role does:

• Lead and oversee water truck operations across multiple construction sites
• Plan and coordinate fleet deployment to meet dust control and project needs
• Ensure compliance with dust control plans, SWPPP requirements, and environmental regulations
• Supervise, train, and support water truck operators and field personnel
• Maintain high safety standards in active construction zones and public roadways
• Oversee equipment readiness, inspections, and maintenance coordination
• Work closely with project managers, superintendents, and clients
• Monitor fuel usage, water consumption, and operational efficiency
• Address safety issues, incidents, and performance concerns promptly
• Support budgeting, planning, and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for:

• Strong leadership and supervisory experience
• Deep knowledge of water truck operations and construction support
• Understanding of roadway safety and traffic control standards
• Ability to manage crews, schedules, and multiple job sites
• Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills
• Mechanical aptitude with heavy equipment

Experience & requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
• Prior supervisory or management experience strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience working on active construction sites and roadways
