Cost Controller

Position: Interim/Fractional Cost Controller
Location: Kennesaw, GA (4 days onsite, Fridays remote)
Pay: $55/hr. -$72/hr. (Experience Dependent)
Type: 6-8 Month Contract
Experience Level: Experienced Controller, Cost Accounting Manager, Plant Controller, or Manufacturing Finance Leader

Known for their commitment to excellence and strong customer relationships, they are seeking a dedicated professional to join their team to lead the charge as an Interim Controller with strong background in Cost Accounting.
What you get to do:

• Partner with business leaders to maintain financial stability, reporting accuracy, and operational continuity during organizational transitions.
• Support month-end close activities, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions to strengthen financial controls and reporting accuracy.
• Assess existing accounting processes, identify operational challenges, and implement improvements where necessary.
• Support manufacturing accounting functions including inventory valuation, cost accounting, standard costing, and financial reporting
• Support inventory controls, cost analysis, and financial planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting requirements.
