Nurse Substitute ( District Wide)

School Nurse

Qualifications:

• Massachusetts license as Registered Nurse
• Minimum of two years supervised nursing experience in community health or child health
• Certified in CPR

Essential Job Functions:

1. Assess and evaluate the students' health
2. Provide emergency care in case of injury or sudden illness
3. Provide information as necessary on frequently encountered health problems, such as: child neglect and abuse drug use and abuse, human nutrition and adolescent pregnancy
4. Provide required health service for school personnel.
5. Provide for personal care needs of physically handicapped pupil as required in their educational plans

Salary:

Hourly rate set in accordance Central Berkshire Regional School Committee Policy Manual, Policy #3485
