Job Locations US-TX-Magnolia US-TX-Baytown Position Summary The Mechanical Engineer - Integrity, Maintenance, Reliability position is the intermediate level of the Engineering classification hierarchy. Employees in the Engineer II position solve complex problems in engineering areas of specialization Mechanical Engineering with general supervision. An Engineer II is expected to develop advanced skills, and the ability to work with greater independence. An Engineer II effectively applies fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. Position Details Position is on-site at a refinery for large global operator. Full time, permanent position Requisition ID: 2026-22333 Position Type: Regular Full-Time Work Schedule Status: On-Site Responsibilities Collect information from clients, prepare project scopes and plans and deliver cost estimates Working on scope specific to pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines Conduct studies and generate observations and data as required by project plan Develop draft reports and work with Technical Experts as needed to finalize for client delivery Deliver exceptional professional customer service with various industrial companies, internal and external stakeholders, etc. Other work duties as assigned. Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience, familiarity with refineries is preferred Mechanical engineering, integrity, inspection, or closely related field required and Bachelors or Masters degree Demonstrated experience and familiarity with pressure vessels, storage tanks, and pipelines Working knowledge of AMSE codes and API standards Strong technical knowledge in applicable field Mechanical Engineering Analytical/investigation skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, high energy, customer-focused and a positive, success-oriented attitude Benefits Competitive Salary Medical, dental, and supplemental insurance 401K Plan Paid Holidays Paid Time Off Working Conditions Office environment with limited physical effort, continuous mental effort, and frequent complex requests for assistance in and out of a lab environment.
