Job Title: Non-Clinical - Health and Information Management - Trauma Registrar
Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?): Richland, WA (Remote)
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Working hours: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:00)
Total hours: 40
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
1 year of Nursing or exposure to EMS (medical terminology background)
5-10+ Registry data entry experience
5-10+ ICD and AIS coding
Required trauma registry experience.
1) AAAM/AIS (injury severity score) coding class (must participate and pass receiving
a certificate)
2) ICD 10 coding class
3) ATS trauma registry course
4) Must have experience using DI/V5 trauma registry.
5) CAISS (certified abbreviated injury scale specialist)
6) Report Writer experience (using V5 registry)
Special requirements: V5 Trauma Registry (report writing trauma registry for PRQ reports for our site)
visit), EPIC (HER) exp required, Resources for Optimal Care of the Injured Patient 2022 Standards (ACS standards), and CAISS certification (ACS requirement).
