Highlights of available positions include:

• Seven roles supporting elementary (K-5) students with emotional, behavioral, communication, and cognitive needs
• Two positions working with secondary (6-12) students with emotional and behavioral challenges
• One opening for a paraprofessional with a medical background to provide PCA support

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Prior experience working with children or adolescents with special needs (emotional, behavioral, communication, cognitive) is highly valued
• 1:1 direct support experience preferred, especially for specialized needs
• Background in education, psychology, healthcare, or related field is a plus
• For the PCA role: medical background or healthcare experience required
• Strong communication, adaptability, and collaborative skills
• Positive, compassionate, and patient approach to mentoring and assistance
• Ability to work the full academic year in a consistent, reliable manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, individualized support to assigned students throughout the school day
• Assist in implementing behavior and communication plans under the guidance of educators and specialists
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment conducive to learning and growth
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and school staff to address academic, behavioral, and social needs
