Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in an educational setting is highly valued
• Ability to relate well to children and adolescents across varying abilities
• Effective communicator with both students and staff
• Understanding of instructional practices and willingness to learn new strategies
• Flexible, adaptable, and eager to collaborate within a classroom team
• Capable of following instructions and maintaining confidentiality
• High School Diploma or equivalent (associate’s degree or higher preferred)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional, behavioral, and social support to students individually or in small groups
• Assist lead teachers with the preparation and implementation of lesson plans
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and positive classroom environment
• Monitor student activities, ensuring engagement and reinforcing classroom routines
• Support students with special needs by implementing necessary accommodations and modifications
• Assist with classroom organization, materials management, and daily recordkeeping
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings when required
