Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician

Role: An Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) Physician providing locum tenens support in an office-based clinic with hospital call coverage. Responsibilities: Manage low- and high-risk obstetrics, perform prenatal care, vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, breech and multiple births, and handle obstetric emergencies. Conduct office gynecology procedures such as colposcopy, loop electrosurgical excision, cystoscopy, cryosurgery, tubal ligation, laparoscopic surgeries, and ectopic pregnancy surgeries. Interpret fetal heart rates and obstetric ultrasounds. Qualifications & Skills: Board Certified or Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology, active Virginia medical license or willingness to obtain, BLS and ACLS certifications. Proficiency in EMR systems like Epic. Key Duties: Office hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with 24-hour call coverage, providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a hospital and office setting, including labor and delivery support. #J-18808-Ljbffr
