Job Opportunity: Locum to Perm OB/GYN Physician in Richmond, VA

Join a collaborative team at a well-respected health facility in Richmond, VA, as an OB/GYN Physician (MD/DO). This role offers the chance to provide care in both office and hospital settings while serving a diverse patient population in a supportive environment.

Facility Overview:

Located within Richmond, this practice includes a team of experienced physicians and midwives committed to women s health. With an average of 25-30 scheduled patients a day and fully equipped exam rooms, you will have ample support to deliver high-quality care.

Practice setting includes office hours as well as on-call responsibilities, ensuring a well-rounded experience in both outpatient and inpatient care.

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care for patients.
• Perform routine and complicated obstetric procedures, including vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and VBACs.
• Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, and laparoscopic surgeries.
• Manage on-call responsibilities with a call ratio of 1 in 4.
• Collaborate with a supportive clinical staff of nurses and medical assistants.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using an EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Active Virginia medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Recent experience in obstetrics and gynecology is preferred.
• Ability to perform required procedures efficiently and effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Active Virginia medical license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Self-Query NPDB report (to be pulled within 30 days of submission).
• Clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
