About the Position

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable individual to join our team in a hybrid Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator role.

This position combines front desk responsibilities with clinical support. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, proactive, and comfortable multitasking in a growing medical practice.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well independently, and is eager to learn and grow with our team.

Key Responsibilities

Front Desk & Patient Coordination

• Greet patients and provide an exceptional patient experience.
• Answer phone calls, text messages, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Schedule appointments, manage the calendar, and coordinate patient follow-ups.
• Assist with patient registration, intake forms, and electronic medical records.
• Process payments and assist with membership and service inquiries.
• Coordinate lab appointments, prescription requests, and patient communications.
• Maintain an organized and efficient front office.

Clinical Support

• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Prepare examination rooms and assist providers during patient visits.
• Assist with blood draws, specimen collection, and laboratory processing when appropriately trained and qualified.
• Perform body composition scans and assist with patient assessments.
• Prepare supplies and assist with clinical procedures and treatments within applicable training and scope.
• Maintain medical supplies, inventory, and cleanliness of clinical areas.

Practice Operations

• Help ensure smooth daily operations and efficient patient flow.
• Follow up with patients regarding appointments and services.
• Educate patients about available services and membership options.
• Assist with inventory management and administrative tasks.
• Support the continued growth and development of the practice.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic medical records.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work independently.
• Professional, reliable, detail-oriented, and willing to learn.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with phlebotomy or clinical procedures is a plus.
