HVAC Controls Systems Engineer

Our client, a leader in building automation and HVAC solutions , is seeking a HVAC Controls Systems Engineer to join their team. As a HVAC Controls Systems Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering/Project Management Department supporting field technicians, installers, and project teams . The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, problem-solving ability, and independence which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: HVAC Controls Systems Engineer

Location: North Fargo, ND

Pay Range: $32.76 per hour

What's the Job?

• Lead HVAC controls projects from start to finish

• Design, program, and commission building automation systems

• Coordinate installation and work with subcontractors/technicians

• Manage project budgets, billing, and change orders

• Communicate with customers throughout the project lifecycle

Must Have

• Experience with HVAC or building automation controls

• Project management experience

• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients

• Ability to work independently

• Strong computer skills

What's Needed?

• Associate degree + 2 years experience OR 4 years related experience

• Experience programming panel controls (HVAC preferred)

• Knowledge of project coordination and execution

• Understanding of safety and compliance requirements

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
