JOB SUMMARY The computed tomography (CT) technologist is responsible for providing patient care and technical expertise in the operation of CT equipment for diagnostic imaging purposes. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education/Specialized Training/Licensure: Must be a graduate of a JRCERT accredited program; Certification in CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required; Valid MRT license by Texas Medical Board (TMB) required; Current CPR certification Work Experience: Two years experience preferred Equipment Operated: CT Scanner, Injector, PACS, RIS and related clinical equipment SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal (Heavy Public Contact) Writing /Composing Other Skills: Analytical, Medical Terms, Typing, P.C., MS Word, MS Excel Advance Training/Specialty: Computed Tomography Work Schedule: Weekends, Holidays, Flexible, On Call #J-18808-Ljbffr Harris Health System, Inc.
