Critical Care Float Pool Rn

Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend night shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity, including:

• Neuro ICU
• Surgical ICUs
• Medical ICUs (MICU x2)
• Cardiology/Diagnostics
• CVICU
• SICU / MICU / NCCU

Float Policy: Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS – Required
• Proficiency with EPIC – Required
• Must have:
• IV Start
• Telemetry
• Ventilator management experience

Parking Options:

The WB and CXS permits require annual payment upfront and are not available as monthly permits. The WMC permit is available monthly.

WMC Monthly Permit: 24/7 access to the Wexner Medical Center Garage — #/month or # per 100 days.

WB Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; West Campus WB/WC lots 24/7 with shuttle service — #/year.

CXS Annual Permit: 9th Avenue East and West Garages on weekends and holidays; Buckeye CX and West Campus lots 24/7 — #/year.

WB Parking Details: Parking is available in West Campus Carmack Lots 2 and 3, approximately 1.7 miles from OSU Wexner Medical Center. The Pink Shuttle runs every 3–5 minutes during peak times and reaches the medical center in approximately 8–9 minutes. Weekend garage access is available from Friday at 2:00 p.m. through Monday at 8:00 a.m. Outside those hours, regular hourly garage rates apply. Refund Information: Prorated refunds may be available for unused future months on annual permits. Current and prior months are not refundable. Cancel by 6:30 p.m. on the last business day of the month to avoid the next charge. Refund checks may take 3–5 weeks. Quick Summary WMC: Closest option with guaranteed garage access; highest cost. CXS: Lower-cost option with multiple parking locations. WB: Lowest-cost option with frequent shuttle service; best value.
