Outpatient Psychiatrist Oswego, NY Central New York Äî Lake Ontario Shoreline Position Details Full-time, permanent position Setting: Outpatient Äî 3 locations throughout Oswego County serving adult and/or adolescent patients Schedule: Monday ÄìFriday, 7:00a Äì7:00p in-person Äî open to longer shifts for 4-day work week Call: 1 in 3 Äî 5 weekdays of call included in base salary (weekday overnight call Monday ÄìThursday via Telemed) plus 1 weekend per month including inpatient rounding Saturday and Sunday mornings Additional call beyond 7 days compensated separately EMR: Meditech Practice OverviewSeeking a BC/BE Psychiatrist to join 2 existing psychiatrists and PMHNPs across 3 outpatient locations in Oswego County: Carry a panel of 175 Äì225 patients in the outpatient setting Approximately 14 Äì20 patients per day depending on appointment type and shift length 90 minutes designated for initial evaluations Äî 15 Äì30 minutes for follow-up appointments Medication management and psychiatric evaluations in collaboration with a therapist Telemed support for psychiatric consults in the ED, ICU, and med-surg unit during on-call shifts Infrequent in-person restraints during call Working with school-based clinic staff Restructuring initiative adding one psychiatrist to complement the existing team Compensation & Benefits Salary range: $385,000 Äì$400,000 annually Sign-on bonus: $100,000 Relocation reimbursement: Up to $10,000 with receipts Student loan repayment: $30,000 over length of contract (if applicable) Paid time off and CME time off: 34 days total including 6 legal holidays Annual CME, dues, and licensure reimbursement: $5,500 Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance 403(b) retirement plan Malpractice paid by employer Required Qualifications MD or DO Äî Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry New York medical license or willingness to obtain About the Community Äì Oswego, New York Charming port city on the eastern shore of Lake Ontario in central New York Home to the State University of New York at Oswego Äî vibrant college town atmosphere Rich maritime history with scenic lakefront parks, lighthouses, and the historic Fort Ontario World-class fishing including salmon, trout, and walleye on Lake Ontario and the Oswego River Abundant outdoor recreation including boating, hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling Affordable cost of living with welcoming, family-friendly communities Easy access to Syracuse Äî approximately 35 miles southeast Four distinct seasons with stunning lake country scenery
