Store Assistant Manager

Help with hiring, supervising, and coordinating daily tasks for staff. Handle bookkeeping and merchandising duties. Maintain high service standards and ensure fast, friendly customer interactions. Maintain reliable onsite attendance. Execute the food program to set a high standard of quality. Lead by example, demonstrating urgency, patience, and leadership. Core Skills and Experience Lead a team of employees and management. Recruit, interview, and hire new staff. Delegate tasks and follow up on completion. Teach and motivate team members. Plan and organize daily activities. Communicate plans and ideas effectively. Handle cash and perform bookkeeping tasks. Problem solving and advocate customer needs with empathy. Ensure safety and security of the store. Preferred Qualifications Retail experience. Supervisor or management experience. Recruiting/hiring/interviewing skills. Experience handling food products. High School or College Degree(s). Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours. Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead for up to 30 minutes per shift. Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level. Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds. Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour per shift. Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands; eye‑hand coordination required; may need to climb a ladder to store or retrieve materials.
