On Call Banquet ServerWe are looking for an energetic and detail oriented on call banquet server to join our growing staff. In this role you will work alongside our current team members to cater events. Candidates should possess an efficient work ethic, a friendly and professional demeanor, and be comfortable being on their feet for several hours at a time.Task and ResponsibilitiesAssist with table and meeting space prep before the eventRead and execute all BEO'sSet up display stations and pop up bars to FQI standardsAssist with food/buffet preparation before and during the eventEnsure safe food handling guidelines are followed by self and team membersArrange food on serving trays in an aesthetic mannerDeliver food from the kitchen and/or prep area to the meeting space in a timely mannerServe appetizers and plated items to guestsOpen wine, take drink ordersServe both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beveragesAlways remain guest focused with the goal being 100% satisfaction and completion of all BEO'sAssist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear downWork as a member of a team, communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work ethic and overall guest satisfactionMinimum RequirementsExcellent, professional communication skillsMust possess a positive attitude and the ability to work with a variety of people and in cooperation with coworkers efficiently and effectivelyStand, sit, or walk for an extended period of timeMust be able to work under pressure or in the presence of a large guest crowd during offered guest receptions and maintain a courteous and hospitable demeanor and attitude throughoutMust be able to maintain a courteous and hospitable demeanor and attitude towards all: guests, peers, management without regard of home department, position and/or heritage.Ability to prioritize tasks and multi-taskAbility to easily adapt to organizational and environmental changesMust be flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidaysReport to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in regulation with company dress code policyAdhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and proceduresMove, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistanceMust be able to stand for extended periods of timePerform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors
