Welder

We are seeking a skilled and safety-minded Welder / Fabricator to join our production team in Thomasville, GA. In this role, you will be essential in manufacturing high-quality heavy-duty equipment, assembling structural steel frames, sub-assemblies, and specialized transport components. Working primarily with GMAW (MIG) welding processes, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering blueprints, fitting raw materials, and executing precise, structural welds designed to withstand demanding real-world applications.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 6 AM - 5:30 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

• Fit, align, and tack-weld structural metal parts and trailer sub-assemblies (such as chassis, axles, crossmembers, side rails, and tailgates) using jigs, fixtures, clamps, and precision measuring tools.

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes
• working in a non-temperature controlled environment
• manual lifting up to 35lbs
• standing for 12 hours at one time
