Director, IT, Data Center & Networking

Responsibilities
- Manage global operations for Cloud, Datacenter, Compute/Storage, Networking and Database teams
- Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of foundational infrastructure
- Drive the organization’s infrastructure strategies, programs, and operational methodology
- Mentor Solstice IT professionals and foster growth, development, and innovation within the organization
- Define and execute the vision, strategy, and direction for cloud, network, compute/storage, and database functions
- Lead the design, implementation, and operations of datacenter and cloud environments
- Establish and enforce governance and change control processes
- Oversee infrastructure lifecycle management
- Develop talent and workforce strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive IT datacenter and cloud technology management experience
- 8+ years of progressive IT leadership roles, including people management
- 5+ years of strategic vendor relationship management
- Excellent knowledge of traditional datacenter and Azure cloud services
- Knowledge of datacenter consolidation and experience in migration to cloud
- Knowledge of ITIL and IT Service Management
- Experience managing and planning a complex operating budget
- Ability to travel up 20% of time on average
Certifications & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science
