Desktop Support Specialist

Description We are seeking a Level One Desktop Support Technician to join a major retail environments Desktop Services team on a contract to perm basis. This is an elevated desktop support role - not a traditional help desk position. The technician will handle helpdesk escalations requiring hands on support, work closely with the network and Windows team, and serve as boots on the ground providing direct end user support across the organization. The ideal candidate is someone with solid foundational IT skills, strong customer service instincts, and a desire to grow within a large enterprise environment Skills Active directory, ServiceNow, macOS, azure ad, exchange, Customer service, Help desk support, Microsoft 365 Top Skills' Details Handle level one helpdesk escalations requiring hands on desktop support Manage and close incidents through ServiceNow ticketing system Provide end user support via email and Microsoft Teams Assist with laptop deployments - applications automated through Intune, minimal data migration required Support iPhone, iPad, and mobile device setups Collaborate with network and Windows team on level one issues requiring hands on resolution Maintain high customer service standards when interacting with end users across the organization Work toward introduction to management tools including Intune, BigFix, and AirWatch as tenure progresses Additional Skills & Qualifications Minimum 15 incident closures per month Mean time to resolve no later than 6 days Positive customer service feedback from the business Experience Level Entry Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, New Jersey. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
