Sr E&I Reliability EngineerHannibal, MO We are looking for a Sr. Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Reliability Engineer I to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Hannibal, MO.In this role, you will lead site reliability for electrical power distribution, instrumentation, control systems, and safety-related assets throughout their lifecycle. You will also be responsible for providing reliability support to the site by implementing and driving reliability programs and providing guidance for repair, maintenance and inspection activities. With teams in the lab, field, office and in production, we do everything in our power to build a sustainable future for agriculture.#ForTheLoveOfFarming #TheBiggestJobOnEarth #AgEmployerOfChoiceHere you can gain more insight into our Vision at BASF Agricultural Solutions!As a Sr E&I Reliability Engineer, you create chemistry by...Ensuring that all E&I reliability-related activities, including electrical power systems, control systems, and critical instrumentation, are compliant with the company Responsible Care Management System, ISA standards, and applicable statutory regulations, and that relevant asset management systems, procedures, and standards are followed to maintain compliance at all times.Applying appropriate reliability tools to drive improvements, optimize costs, and improve Asset Effectiveness (i.e. Bad Actor Program, FMEA, RBI, RBM, RCM/Criticality Analysis, RCFA, etc.) for E&I assets.Maintaining site reliability programs for critical instrumentation and safety instrumented systems (SIS), electrical distribution assets (e.g., generators, transformers, MCCs, heat tracing, utility power), and control systems.Monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics for proactive identification and resolution of reliability issues, including findings from inspection reports.Supporting capital projects by supplying E&I engineering expertise in the specification, design, commissioning, and startup activities in accordance with plant design requirements, as well as regulatory and BASF standards, utilizing your general understanding of industrial maintenance procedures, including work planning, preventive maintenance, and repair parts acquisition.Designing maintenance strategies, procedures, inspection plans and methods for E&I assets.If you...Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering or related E&I technical discipline.Have a bachelor’s degree and 6 or more years’ experience within a manufacturing or engineering role with technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems; OR have a master’s degree and 4 or more years’ experience within a manufacturing or engineering role with technical knowledge of industrial electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems.Have strong troubleshooting and diagnostic capabilities within operations and maintenance teams, with experience applying several reliability concepts to electrical and instrumentation assets in an industrial environment.Have strong interpersonal skills. Possess knowledge of Reliability Management tools: maintenance strategies, inspection strategies, Bad Actor Program, RCFA.Have the ability to develop and maintain metrics to measure reliability and efficiency of equipment, including the use of digital tools (e.g. Power BI).
