Job Description

Join a dynamic and innovative packaging company as a Maintenance Technician specializing in repairing mechanical and electrical systems. With a focus on preventative maintenance and troubleshooting, you will work with cutting-edge packaging equipment and contribute to the growth and efficiency of the company.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on packaging equipment, X-ray machines, blenders, mixers, baggers, labelers, ink jet coders, and heat shrinking machines.

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting and wire up to 480V motors.

• Repair and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives.

• Troubleshoot PLCs and use HMI programs effectively.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Replace, troubleshoot, and repair Photo Eyes.

• Utilize MIG and TIG welding and fabrication skills.

• Conduct regular preventative maintenance using an MRP system.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical systems.

• Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.

• Knowledge of wiring, PLC, HMI, VFD, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

• Experience in packaging or GMP environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Understanding of 480V electrical systems.

• Experience with PLC troubleshooting including inputs and outputs.

• Skills in welding and wiring.

• Ability to work collaboratively with operators.

Work Environment

Work in a clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility spanning 200,000 sq. ft., equipped with advanced packaging machines, conveyors, and processing machines. Choose from three shifts: 1st shift, 2nd shift, or 3rd shift, Monday to Friday and Saturday for overtime, with a total of 50-55 hours per week.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $79040.00/yr.
