Maintenance Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with troubleshooting and repairing equipment, utilizing prints, schematics, and knowledge of electricity, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Perform minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and painting repairs as necessary. Perform preventative maintenance measures. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies. Respond quickly in the event of an emergency, notify appropriate personnel and follow safety protocol. Perform highly diversified duties to maintain production machines and the facility’s equipment. Perform preventative and predictive maintenance procedures for equipment and auxiliary equipment. Works to provide a safe and clean work environment for employees. Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, and plumbing including waste and process plumbing. Assist in maintenance record keeping and documentation. Qualifications Electrical background is a requirement. Plastic industry experience is preferred and experience in extrusion and thermoforming is beneficial. Have to be able to troubleshoot electrical controls. Must have attention to detail, a sense of urgency, be self-directed, and display strong organizational skills. Must be able to communicate and work well with others. 2+ years of maintenance experience.
