Maintenance Technician

Position: Maintenance Technician Location: Gary, IN Job Id: 122 # of Openings: 1 Responsibilities Perform preventative and predictive maintenance Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems Diagnose equipment issues and minimize downtime Work with motors, conveyors, pumps, pressure systems, and production equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports Support a safe and efficient manufacturing operation Qualifications 3-Phase Electrical Experience (Required) Industrial Maintenance Experience Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems Blueprint and schematic reading skills High School Diploma or equivalent Vocational training in mechanical/electrical trades and/or 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong mechanical & electrical aptitude Experience with measuring instruments & maintenance reporting Dependable attendance and flexibility with schedules Comfortable working outside normal business hours when needed Ability to collaborate with employees at all organizational levels Education & Experience High School Diploma or equivalent required Technical/vocational training in mechanical or electrical trades preferred Industry experience strongly valued Physical & Work Environment Medium to high noise manufacturing environment, Ear Protection is required to be worn Frequent standing, walking, bending, and equipment handling Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs Safety-focused industrial setting Benefits Tuition reimbursement Complete professional training Health care Bonuses Physical Requirements Frequent standing and walking Bending, kneeling, reaching, and climbing ladders Ability to lift and move materials up to 30 lbs Your Rights as an Applicant Under Federal Employment Laws Please view labor law information by clicking the links below: For 4 decades, we have strived to put the customer first and exceed expectations.
