Experience true collaboration with site leaders, athletic trainers, and staff who value your expertise.What You'll DoProvide high-quality on-site emergency medical coverage, initial triage, and first aid during assigned local athletic and event coverage shifts.Respond rapidly to acute medical incidents, athletic injuries, or emergency situations on-site.Assess patient conditions, deliver immediate care within the EMT scope of practice, and coordinate higher-level EMS transport when necessary.Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential electronic incident and care documentation.Maintain and inventory event medical kits and emergency response supplies before and after shifts.Serve as a professional, calm, and reassuring medical presence for athletes, event participants, staff, and spectators.Requirements3+ years EMT Event Experience REQUIREDCurrent EMT Certification (NREMT and/or Pennsylvania EMT State Certification)Current CPR / BLS for Healthcare Providers certificationMandated Reporter training within the last 2 yearsValid Driver's License and reliable transportation to shift locations in/around San Diego, CAStrong communication skills and a professional demeanor under pressureBackground checks and clearances as required by Pennsylvania state guidelines (e.g., Child Abuse, FBI Fingerprinting, Criminal History)Curious but want to learn more?Apply now to join a core team that truly supports event medical professionals—on and off the field!
