HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SHIPPING AND RECEIVING CLERK IN CAROL STREAM, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in Carol Stream, IL. This individual will be responsible for receiving, unloading, inspecting, loading, sorting, and staging import and export freight while ensuring shipments are handled accurately and safely. The ideal candidate has warehouse or logistics experience, strong attention to detail, and is comfortable operating a forklift and performing physical work in a fast-paced environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• $19.00-$20.00/hour 
• 1st Shift 
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Carol Stream, IL  

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, inspect, sort, and stage incoming import and export freight
• Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as required
• Load and unload trailers and containers following proper shipping procedures
• Verify freight quantities, pallet counts, labels, shipping documents, and shipment information
• Inspect freight for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues to warehouse leadership
• Organize, consolidate, and stage freight in designated warehouse locations
• Assist with palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and securing freight for shipment
• Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records and documentation
• Communicate with warehouse leads regarding shipment issues or discrepancies
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and loading area
• Follow all safety procedures, forklift guidelines, and PPE requirements
• Meet daily productivity and shipping/receiving deadlines
• Perform additional warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, freight, or logistics experience preferred
• Forklift experience required/preferred depending on assignment
• Trailer or container loading/unloading experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately verify shipments and documentation
• Ability to lift approximately 50 pounds as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and meeting daily deadlines
• Dependable attendance and punctuality required
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
