This full-time, onsite contract position runs from August 24, 2026, to June 10, 2027 and spans 35 hours per week, serving a diverse student population in an urban setting. The ideal candidate is passionate about empowering students’ communication abilities and feels comfortable working collaboratively within a school-based team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Hold a valid SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
• Demonstrated experience working within schools, specifically at the middle and high school levels
• Comfortable and skilled in navigating urban school communities
• Familiarity with completing all required Pennsylvania clearances prior to the start date
• Ability to work onsite; remote options are not available for this position
• Reliable transportation for consistent daily attendance
• Availability to work the full schedule within the hours of 7:15 AM and 4:00 PM, as accommodations to the work schedule are not permitted

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in conjunction with educators and families
• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to support student success
• Provide direct therapy services, including one-on-one and group sessions
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and professional development as needed
