Important Requirements
- Washington State Surgical Technologist license required.
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification required on hire.
- Participation in 24-hour call coverage required.
Position Summary
The Surgical Technologist provides safe and therapeutically effective patient care in the operating room. The role includes maintaining the work area, preparing and maintaining surgical instrumentation and equipment, and scrubbing a wide variety of surgical cases while participating in rotating call coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the operating room.
- Provide and ensure safe and therapeutically effective patient care.
- Maintain the operating room work area.
- Prepare, assemble, and maintain operating room instrumentation and equipment.
- Scrub a wide variety of surgical cases.
- Participate in 24-hour call coverage.
Required Qualifications
Licensure
- Washington State Surgical Technologist license.
Required Certifications
- American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
Schedule
- Monday Friday, 6:30 AM 3:00 PM.
- Rotating call.
- 24-hour call coverage.
