Description The Project Manager is a dynamic and organized professional who manages construction projects from start to finish. This role requires leadership skill, people management skills, project management skills, exceptional communication, and the ability to lead teams effectively. The Project Manager ensures that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Roles and Responsibilities Project Planning and Execution: Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with client’s key stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely completion. Budget Management: Create, monitor, and control project budgets. Resource Management: Allocate resources and manage project teams within budget. Quality Control: Ensure all aspects of project quality standards are met. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks ahead of time. Subcontractor Coordination: Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure adherence to project timelines and quality. Reporting: Prepare and present project status reports to senior management. Problem Solving: Address and resolve project-related issues and conflicts. Project Documentation: Oversee project documentation and ensure accuracy and completeness. Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project team. Procurement: Review order accuracy, approve purchase orders and invoices, negotiate best pricing, and complete pay applications. Training and Development: Assist with APM and PE training. Site Visits: Visit sites at least once a month and maintain open line of communication with fabrication team, leadership, vendors, customers, field team, and subcontractors. Schedule Maintenance: Maintain schedule up-to-date and ensure compliance. Financial Oversight: Review monthly financial reports and flag any potential issues; review vehicle weekly report. Meetings: Lead PM and fabrication meetings, provide updates, and prepare for mobilizations. Construction Oversight: Be present for water tests, create solutions for jobsite challenges, prepare for jobsite mobilizations, and ensure new hires receive tech packages and mobilization items. Documentation: Request and submit all documentation needed for projects, approve change orders, and review submittal responses. Skills and Knowledge Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and software. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Budget Management: Strong budget management and financial tracking. Scheduling: Ability to develop and maintain detailed project schedules. Problem-Solving: Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution skills; knowledge of construction processes and regulations. Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years in project management within the construction industry. Track Record: Proven track record of successful project delivery; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
