Design Project Manager

Job Summary Design Project Manager role at EMCOR Group, Inc. responsible for managing design and execution of construction projects across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection. Responsibilities Lead design and documentation of mechanical, electrical, P&ID, and fire sprinkler systems using AutoCAD, HydraCAD, and BIM models. Read and interpret contractual drawings, specifications, and codes (IPC, AFC, NFPA, and local ordinances). Coordinate cross‑discipline deliveries, present design solutions to clients, owners, and construction teams. Develop hydraulic calculations, cost analysis, and fabrication lists for fire protection systems. Maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality control throughout design phase. Qualifications Associate or technical degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management (equivalent experience). 3+ years of experience designing mechanical, electrical, fire protection, or MEP systems. Proficient in AutoCAD, HydraCAD, BIM software, and hydraulic calculation tools. Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record. Strong communicator, self‑motivated, and organized with attention to detail. NICET certification preferred.
