• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• 2-5 years of experience operating drilling equipment in an aggregate quarry, surface mining operation, or similar industrial environment.
• Must be able to work 2nd shift with various start times from 1:00pm-3:00pm while working 8-10 hour shifts.
• Previous experience operating rotary drill rigs, preferably in a quarry or surface mining environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace health, safety, and environmental compliance.

• Operate mobile drilling equipment to safely and efficiently drill blast holes in quarry operations.
• Follow approved blast-hole layouts, drilling patterns, and designs provided by the Drilling Manager or designated supervisor.
• Conduct pre-shift and post-shift equipment inspections, identify potential hazards, and report equipment defects or unsafe conditions.
• Perform routine maintenance on drilling equipment, including inspecting and replacing drill bits, hammers, drill steel, and related components.
• Meet established drilling production targets while maintaining drilling accuracy, equipment integrity, and compliance with safety procedures.
