Our multidisciplinary team employs evidence-based practices to enhance recovery outcomes and restore patients' physical capabilities.Work EnvironmentThis full-time position is onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Hollywood, Florida. The clinic operates within a collaborative healthcare environment where staff work together to deliver seamless patient care. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional flexibility required based on patient needs and clinic operations. Our clinic is equipped with modern therapy tools and equipment, providing an ideal setting for effective rehabilitation.Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Physical Therapists to formulate and deliver individualized patient treatment plans that focus on enhancing mobility, strength, and overall functionality.Guide patients through tailored therapeutic exercises and stretches designed to alleviate pain and promote physical well-being, ensuring proper technique for optimal outcomes.Educate patients on effective body mechanics and home exercise programs, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery journey.Administer various therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and temperature therapy, under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.Document and monitor patient progress meticulously, tracking metrics such as range of motion, strength improvements, and functional gains to inform ongoing treatment adjustments.Prepare treatment areas and maintain equipment inventory, ensuring a safe and organized environment for therapy sessions.Engage with an interdisciplinary team—including Occupational Therapists and Speech-Language Pathologists—to ensure comprehensive patient care coordination.Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients throughout their rehabilitation process, fostering a positive patient experience.Uphold ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting individual rights.Patient Population / Client FocusAs a Physical Therapist Assistant at Gotham Enterprises Ltd, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, those managing chronic pain, athletes pursuing rehabilitation for sports-related injuries, and elderly patients regaining strength and mobility. Your role will have a significant impact on tailoring treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient, promoting optimal recovery outcomes.QualificationsAn Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.A valid state license or certification to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.In-depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it pertains to physical therapy practices.A proven ability to implement therapeutic exercises and treatments under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building relationships with patients and collaborating with the healthcare team.A compassionate approach to patient care, with a sincere desire to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.Adaptability in treating various patient demographics and conditions, customizing treatment plans as necessary.Strong organizational and time management capabilities, with an emphasis on detail-oriented care.Preferred ExperienceA minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, ideally in a rehabilitation or hospital setting.Experience working with a range of therapeutic modalities and familiarity with rehabilitation equipment.Background in patient education on exercise protocols and post-treatment care.Compensation and BenefitsThe annual salary for this role ranges from USD 50,000 to 65,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
