We are seeking a qualified General Sonographer to provide mobile ultrasound services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other patient care locations throughout the Panama City region. The ideal candidate will perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations, operate portable ultrasound equipment, and ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic images.

Responsibilities

• Perform general and vascular ultrasound examinations using portable equipment.
• Travel to assigned healthcare facilities to provide mobile diagnostic services.
• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and transmit them to radiologists for interpretation.
• Verify patient identity and physician orders before performing examinations.
• Maintain accurate examination records and complete required documentation.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and medical ethics standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Ultrasound Technology program.
• ARDMS or CCI registration for vascular ultrasound required.
• Experience in General and Vascular Ultrasound required; ECHO experience is a plus.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to travel between facilities and work independently.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Must pass required background and drug screening.
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or approved exemption documentation.
