Regional Sales Manager, Residential - NEW YORK, NEW JERSEY, CT, MA, RIThe Regional Sales Manager will grow our Home Automation product sales in partnership with our Residential Dealers. We are seeking a polished, proactive, and professional Regional Sales Manager to help support the sales function and develop business relationships within the territory. In this role, you will actively participate in the sales, design, quotation, submittal and order closing process in a firm that cultivates a close-knit and collaborative corporate culture.Responsibilities: Drive revenue growth to achieve/exceed sales goals within assigned territory through direct engagement with dealers, and key industry influencers.Develop business by meeting with and helping dealers identify, develop, and close new business opportunities while expanding Crestron wallet share and product balance within existing accounts.Plan business activities in advance to ensure clear action and objectives to efficiently and effectively manage overall region business. Maintain Salesforce CRM, opportunity pipeline, forecasting, activity reporting, and territory analytics.Design market penetration plans, new dealer acquisition and growth initiatives for Residential product categories through market analysis and industry research.Develop your expertise in the Residential Audio/Video/Environmental and Control marketplace through continuous learning and product mastery.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, customer meetings, and regional networking opportunities while serving as a subject matter expert in Residential AV, Home Automation, and Lighting Control solutions.Host and facilitate dealer tours with industry design/build professionals and end-users on occasion on tours at Crestron showrooms and world HQ.Qualifications: Education: Sales, Marketing or Busiess Bachelors Degree - preferred Knowledge of Control Solutions,Audio-Visual, Enviornmental, Home Automation industry6-8 years Sales Experience5+ years Pipeline/Business Development and/or management experience coaching othersAbility to develop a dealer-based network for specific product categoriesWorking knowledge of computer networking, WiFi, IP, Internet, wireless & cloud technologiesSalesforce CRM experience - a plusAbility to effectively plan your business, multi-task, manage priorities and work Independently Location and Travel:Ability to travel up to 75% - Must have valid U.S. Drivers' license with the ability to drive in every state of your territory; and be able to travel up to 75% (by either car, airplane, or train).Ability to travel outside the Northeast sales territory occasionally for conferences, training or other events - up to 15%Candidate must live within the sales territory: New York, New Jersey, New England states (Tri-state preferred)Compensation:Per applicable state requirements, the annual pay range for this position ($150,000 - $190,000) which consists of base salary and target sales incentive (subject to performance), reflects the hiring range for candidates performing the role in those specific states.
