  • Level I (Entry level, up to 2 years of direct experience): $60,350 annually
  • Level II (3+ years of direct experience): $65,178 annually
Bilingual premium for qualifying languages is 3.5% higher than starting salary if passed the bilingual exam in the first week of hire. Position Summary The Regional Health Access Program Manager supervises Health Access Program Coordinators at all regional offices of CHN outside of the primary Denver office (Colorado Springs, Ft. Collins, & Grand Junction) and may also supervise supportive staff who do not directly report to the Senior Health Access Program Manager or Health Access Program Director. Essential Job Functions Provide direct supervision and act as Hiring Manager for Regional Health Access Program Coordinators outside Denver. Assist in all aspects of program development, implementation, reporting, and evaluation with guidance from the Health Access Program Director & Senior Health Access Program Manager. Collaborate with CDPHE/SDAP staff and Health Access Program Management to develop and implement programmatic goals, policies, and operational procedures. Work with Director and CHN Quality Team to monitor program quality, including ongoing quality improvement efforts, program evaluation, and outcome measures. Recommend innovative and alternative methods to improve processes. Manage client feedback, complaints, grievances, and appeals. Provide backup on client issues and maintain client services during peak open‑enrollment season, with a reduced caseload not to exceed 25% of a Health Access Program Coordinator on an ongoing basis. Conduct trainings during staff transitions (onboarding, position changes, quality improvement processes). Identify and meet additional team training needs, goals, and priorities. Meet all deadlines agreed upon with the Health Access Programs Director. Serve on relevant internal and external workgroups and coalitions as requested. Recruit and maintain high‑quality staff; conduct performance reviews; ensure appropriate and adequate staffing and scheduling. Set expectations of teamwork within and across departments. Assist staff in improving skills and identifying professional development needs with the Director. Onboard CHN coordinators at co‑located clinic locations and manage relations between CHN and those clinics. Work effectively in a diverse setting with populations including persons living with HIV, the LGBTQ+ community, and disenfranchised communities. Participate in training related to HIV, substance use, harm reduction, trauma‑informed care, and related issues. Demonstrate cultural competency and sensitivity. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience highly desired. Understanding of health insurance and public benefits (Medicare, Medicaid, employer, marketplace/off‑market enrollment, and/or insurance billing processes). Preference for completion of Connect for Health training and experience with at least one open‑enrollment season. Experience with direct client contact and/or a customer service background. Background in programs serving People Living with HIV. Strong commitment to working within a diverse setting with diverse populations. Consistent pursuit of inclusive and trauma‑informed client services. Ability to collaborate effectively within small and large teams in CHN regional offices. Ability to prioritize workload and function independently. Training in cultural competency preferred. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities. Supervisory Responsibilities Recruit, train, and retain high‑quality staff. Ensure appropriate staffing and scheduling. Set expectations for teamwork, communicate CHN mission and values, and enforce policies and procedures. Review quality of paperwork, data entry, session notes, and referrals. Assist staff in skill improvement and professional development. Education Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Finance, Human Services, Social Work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Software Utilized Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Client database systems and other software tools as needed. Knowledge, Skill and Ability Knowledge of HIV/AID challenges, excellent written and verbal communication, high organization and detail orientation, self‑management, initiative, quality improvement mindset, professional integrity, cultural competency, critical thinking, active listening, problem‑solving skills, and data collection are required. Demonstrated effectiveness in task management, teamwork, and communication with teams, managers, clients, and funders is expected. Material and Equipment Directly Used Standard office equipment including computer workstations, laptops, printers, copiers, scanners, fax machines, electronic health records, client/patient data systems, word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and online systems. Physical Demands and Work Conditions The role is performed in an office environment with occasional travel via automobile or airplane. Requires valid Colorado driver’s license, ability to use a telephone for extended periods, screen time, and manual dexterity for keyboarding. Requires clear speaking ability.
