Data Architect - Data Modernization, Snowflake

Location: San Jose, CA Duration: 9 months Key Responsibilities Lead data modernization and cloud transformation initiatives across enterprise environments. Design and implement scalable ETL and data migration solutions. Architect data pipelines and modernization strategies involving: Oracle to PostgreSQL Oracle to SQL Server Relational to NoSQL migrations Data Warehouse to Data Lake transformations Develop enterprise data models and architecture standards. Collaborate with technical teams, DBAs, developers, and business stakeholders. Create proof-of-concepts and technical solution prototypes. Support cloud-native architectures using Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS technologies. Optimize SQL queries, ETL workflows, and large-scale data processing solutions. Required Skills Data Architecture Data Modeling Project Management Strong SQL expertise Snowflake and Databricks hands-on experience AWS cloud understanding Enterprise ETL and data transformation experience Preferred Technical Experience Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Amazon RDS IBM InfoSphere DataStage Informatica PowerCenter Microsoft SSIS Oracle Data Integrator XML, JSON, NoSQL, Python Qualifications 8+ years of experience in data architecture and modernization initiatives Proven experience leading enterprise data migration projects Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $130,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
