Warehouse Technician

Job Description

We are seeking 3 Warehouse Technicians to support warehouse operations and inventory management activities. This position will begin with a large-scale inventory cleanup initiative, where technicians will be responsible for organizing materials, verifying inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting physical inventory counts. Technicians will receive, stock, move, and issue materials throughout the warehouse while maintaining accurate inventory records. Candidates should be comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment, operating material handling equipment, and performing inventory-related tasks both physically and within inventory management systems.

Skills and Requirements

High school diploma or GED

Previous warehouse, material handling, or inventory experience

Experience receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials

Ability to perform physical inventory counts and maintain inventory accuracy

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Ability to lift and move materials safely throughout the warehouse

Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Interest in pursuing a long-term, permanent opportunity Forklift certification or previous forklift experience

Experience with cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, or inventory control

Experience using inventory management, ERP, or warehouse management systems

Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software systems

Experience with barcode scanners, handheld devices, or RF scanners

Background in power generation, utilities, manufacturing, industrial, or heavy equipment environments

Experience supporting inventory cleanup or warehouse improvement projects
