PACU Registered Nurse (RN)

The post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN cares for patientswho have under gone anesthesia. Thepost-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN is responsible for observing and treating apatient postoperation and making sure that they safely awake fromanesthesia. The post-Anesthesia CareUnit (PACU) RN must monitor vital signs and levels of consciousness to makesure that the sedation is wearing off properly, there are no adverse reactionsoccurring and patients are regaining consciousness. Current RN licensure in the state in which RN is working.
