FAAS Regulatory specialist - Senior Associate

Overview Financial Accounting and Advisory Services (FAAS) Regulatory unit provides work under assurance and consulting roles. FAAS Regulatory supports the external regulatory audits of a variety of banking clients, providing confidence to the South African Reserve Bank’s (SARB) Prudential Authority, investors, in the strength of banks’ prudential position. In addition, our professionals advise and provide assurance over the level of compliance with regulatory and prudential aspects as set out in the Basel framework adopted by the SARB. Responsibilities As a member of a multidisciplinary team, you will help clients in the financial services sector understand and manage their risk and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with prudential aspects while enhancing your knowledge and expertise in risk management, governance and overall banking compliance. Qualifications At least an undergraduate degree or post‑graduate qualification in financial risk management, investment management, finance or banking. BCom Finance / Financial Sciences BCom Economics with Risk Management BCom with major in Banking BCom Investment Management Minimum of 24 months work experience in the financial services industry relating to either finance, risk management, compliance or the regulatory environment.
