Registered Nurse (RN) - OR

OR Registered Nurse Operating Room

Shift: 4x10 day shifts

Shift start times: 06:4517:15 or 09:0019:30

Weekends: Required

Holidays: Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Assignment length: 13 weeks

Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks

Minimum years of RN experience: 2

License: Active RN license in the state

Certifications: BLS required; ACLS and CNOR preferred

EMR: Epic required

Unit-specific skills: Experience scrubbing/circulating in a broad range of cases including general surgery, ortho, neuro, vascular, gynecology, and familiarity with robotics and advanced OR technology.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room setting.
• Assist with preoperative and postoperative patient management.
• Collaborate with surgeons and surgical teams to ensure successful procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment and ensure proper use and care of surgical instruments.

Compliance / Notes:

Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted).

Approved time-off (RTO) on an individual basis; all RTO must be submitted with the candidate.

Must complete pre-start modules (non-billable) prior to start.
