About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Adoption Services to lead its Christ-centered, full-service adoption ministry. The successful candidate will be the primary external leader, providing strategic oversight, and cultivating relationships with churches, donors, and community partners. This role requires a deep commitment to the sanctity of life and Christian adoption ministry, as well as the ability to ensure the ministry's mission and operations are aligned with the broader vision of the organization. The Executive Director will be responsible for vision and strategic leadership, operational excellence, team development, fundraising, and financial stewardship. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a Master's degree preferred, and a minimum of 10 years of executive or senior leadership experience in adoption, child welfare, or a related nonprofit organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading organizational growth, strategic initiatives, and successful fundraising, including major donor cultivation. Strong knowledge of adoption regulations, licensing, and best practices is essential, as is experience in managing organizational budgets and financial performance. The role also demands exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to inspire and retain high-performing teams. A background in social work or a related field, and existing relationships within Christian, adoption, or child welfare networks, are preferred. The Executive Director will be expected to travel nationally and maintain a flexible schedule, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications and standard business technologies.
