About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) with a strong background in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and profitability. The successful candidate will be responsible for enhancing and leading the budgeting and forecasting function, with a focus on traditional budget to actual analytics, reporting, and scenario planning. The role is pivotal in the institution's growth strategy, and the VP will be expected to communicate effectively across the organization, drive innovation, and ensure that all activities align with corporate goals. Building strong relationships with various lines of business is also a key aspect of the position. Applicants for the VP, FP&A role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, and a minimum of 8 years' experience in a similar capacity within a multibillion-dollar banking or credit union environment. The role requires a candidate with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as a keen attention to detail. While the position does not demand extensive technical skills in SQL, Hyperion, or Axiom, the VP should be adept at data extraction and have a basic understanding of these tools. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of leading a team and driving the financial planning and analysis function to support the institution's growth and expansion plans.
