Special Education Teacher (LBS1) - 26/27 Year - Lansing area, IL
Phaxis Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education Teacher (LBS1 endorsed) to join our team for the upcoming 2026–2027 school year for one of our school partners in the Lansing, IL area.
Position Overview
- Middle school age (6th through 8th grade)
- 10-15 students
- Small school system with seasoned staff available to provide support
- Full-time, 37.5 hours/week
- 8/17/26 - 6/2/27
Qualifications
- Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement (or eligibility)
- Strong commitment to student growth and individualized instruction
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and support teams
