Automation Test EngineerSeeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern testing practices. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable automation frameworks, executing end-to-end testing, and integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines in an Agile environment. The selected candidate should have the ability to start within a short notice period.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automation scripts using PlaywrightBuild and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworksExecute end-to-end, regression, and smoke testingEnsure comprehensive test coverage across UI (frontend) and API/backend systemsPerform API testing using Postman/REST servicesIntegrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)Analyze test failures, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causesGenerate and maintain test reports using tools like Allure and Playwright reportsParticipate in Agile ceremonies and support Scrum-based deliveryCollaborate with Product Owners, Developers, Scrum Masters, and Test LeadsSupport functional testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UATRequired Skills & Experience:5–7 years of experience in test automation and QA engineeringStrong hands-on experience with Playwright automation toolProficiency in JavaScript and TypeScriptExperience with JIRA for defect tracking and project managementSolid understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologiesExperience in API testing (Postman/REST)Knowledge of CI/CD integration and version control toolsTop 3 Required Skills:PlaywrightGenAI exposureMicrosoft CopilotSoft Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesSelf-starter with high motivation and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong stakeholder management and collaboration skillsGood documentation and organizational capabilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with modern test reporting frameworks (Allure)Exposure to AI/GenAI-driven testing or productivity tools like CopilotExperience working with distributed/global teams
